About

What's DEIB?

DEIB is the more evolved conversation about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

The move from DEI to DEIB recognizes that being a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization is not enough.

Cultivating a true sense of belonging must be the ultimate goal.

  About Our Founder
       Geneviéve                                              Attorney.Trainer.Consultant.

Geneviéve Jones-Wright decided at a young age she would make every corner of the world she touched more just and inclusive. An accomplished and compassionate attorney inspired by Justice Thurgood Marshall, Geneviéve spent the bulk of her legal career as a public defender where she gained real world knowledge that ignited her commitment to make equity a standard in our society. This profound understanding was further deepened through her work as a founder and the Executive Director of a non-profit organization, Community Advocates for Just and Moral Governance, that seeks to make society more equitable.

As a result of corporations routinely seeking her out to facilitate and lead office-wide conversations about racial and social justice, Geneviéve developed her unique DEI presentations, trainings, assessment tools, and work plans to help more organizations fulfill their goal of creating and maintaining truly inclusive work environments.

Using all of her professional and personal experience, Geneviéve couples relatable stories with practical knowledge taking a unique approach to the (D+E+I) = B formula making it easy for corporations and other organizations, company executives, and human resources professionals to grasp and translate into meaningful action.

Geneviéve’s presentations move you from “check box complete” to transformative DEIB “aha!” moments.

Step into partnership with Geneviéve, the Perpetual Autobiographer™, to ensure your next chapter is your best one written yet!

“Geneviéve was truly awesome. She hit a home run with her presentation and her visuals were spot on. Truly heartening to see the response.”

The phrase "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" is everywhere these days. But Geneviéve stands out in a crowded field of speakers and facilitators. I had the pleasure of listening to a truncated portion of her training, where I was introduced to the phrase “DEIB” for the first time. B stands for Belonging, which is defined as a sense of relatedness connected to a positive relationship(s) within a group or organization. I love this addition to the standard DE&I curriculum. And this emphasis on belonging makes Geneviéve's presentations even more valuable for organizations, especially in the current market where employees demand more than a paycheck. Investing in DEIB training not only helps productivity and morale, it makes people want to stay. Geneviéve excels at distilling abstract concepts and explaining why businesses should care about DEIB, and I can’t recommend her enough.
